John Iossifidis

John Iossifidis is the Group CEO of Al Ghurair, responsible for leading one of the Middle East’s most prominent diversified family businesses. With operations spanning five sectors and more than 28,000 employees, he is guiding Al Ghurair through its next phase of strategic growth while upholding the founding family’s values.
Prior to joining Al Ghurair, John was CEO of Noor Bank, where he led a transformation that doubled shareholder value within two years. He previously spent over eight years at Mashreq Bank in senior executive roles, including Group Head and EVP of Corporate and Investment Banking. With more than 35 years of banking and leadership experience across Australia, Singapore, and the UAE, John is recognised for his purpose-driven leadership and commitment to delivering lasting impact.

Nabeel Waheed
Group Chief Financial Officer & Group Chief Operating Officer, Al Ghurair
Nabeel Waheed is the Group Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Al Ghurair, while also leading the Group’s Corporate Functions. In this combined leadership role, he oversees financial strategy, performance, and governance, while aligning key support functions - including Group Legal, People & Culture, Group Digital & Technology, Group Procurement, Enterprise Excellence, and Group Communications - with the Group’s business objectives.
With more than 40 years of financial leadership across the Middle East and Indian subcontinent, Nabeel has held senior positions at Mashreq and Bank of America. Known for his forward-thinking approach, he is driving operational integration, strategic growth, and long-term value creation across Al Ghurair.

Turgut Yegenaga
Chief Executive Officer, Al Ghurair Foods
Turgut Yegenaga leads Al Ghurair Foods, overseeing the Group’s agricultural commodities and food businesses. With deep expertise rooted in a lifelong connection to farming, he brings more than two decades of leadership across grains, oils, and the food processing value chain.
Before joining Al Ghurair, Turgut served as Country Lead at Bunge Turkey, where he scaled both B2C and B2B segments and led sustainability-driven initiatives. His strategic shift from regional sales to a channel-led model helped unlock value across the entire ‘farm to fork’ journey. Turgut has held senior roles at global agribusiness leaders including Cargill and Grains & Forages. He served on the board of the Turkish National Vegetable Oil Association for over a decade, demonstrating his longstanding commitment to the sector.

Sultan Al Ghurair
Chief Executive Officer, Al Ghurair Development
Sultan Al Ghurair leads Al Ghurair Development, overseeing the Group’s expansion into luxury real estate. Under his direction, the business is redefining premium living through flagship projects such as the Al Ghurair Collection - a curated portfolio blending design excellence with Dubai’s future-focused vision.
With over 30 years of experience, Sultan has played a key role in Al Ghurair’s growth across real estate and other strategic sectors. Since joining Al Ghurair Investment in 2004, he has led several business units, combining commercial insight with a people-first leadership style. He began his career in the Special Projects Division, gaining hands-on operational experience from the ground up.

Badr Al Ghurair
Chief Executive Officer, Transport Division, Mobility
Badr Al Ghurair is CEO of Kabi, one of the UAE’s largest and most innovative taxi fleets, and a leader within Al Ghurair’s Mobility sector. He is also the CEO of Zed, the Group’s cutting-edge ride-hailing app, as well as being CEO for the Ventures division, covering businesses across printing, retail, education, travel, and emerging sectors.
Under Badr’s leadership, Kabi has continued to shape the future of mobility in the region. Established in 2000 as the UAE’s first franchise taxi operation, Kabi today operates a fleet of over 4,000 vehicles and was the first in the country to transition to a fully Hybrid/CNG model - underscoring its commitment to sustainability and innovation. Badr also serves as Chairman of Sukoon Insurance and is a board member of National Cement. He previously led Al Ghurair Construction as CEO and held senior roles at Dubai Holding before joining the Group in 2006.

Oscar Rivoli
Chief Executive Officer, Motors, Al Ghurair Mobility
Oscar Rivoli is CEO of Motors, the automotive division of Al Ghurair Mobility. He oversees a portfolio that includes multiple international automotive brands, a national chain of service centres, vehicle testing stations, a parts wholesale division, and used car retail.
A seasoned automotive leader, Oscar brings over two decades of experience across OEM, import, and distribution operations. Before joining Al Ghurair, he was Managing Director of Trading Enterprises at Al Futtaim, overseeing brands such as Chrysler, Dodge, Honda, Jeep, Ram, and Volvo across four markets. He later became Planning and Network Director at Al-Futtaim Automotive. Oscar began his career in 1999 with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles in South Africa and has since held regional and global roles across Africa and the Middle East. He is known for building strong teams and delivering transformation through deep operational insight.

With a future-focused approach, he drives innovation and operational excellence while balancing shareholder value with long-term impact for customers, employees, and communities.
Over a 20-year career spanning multiple industries and entrepreneurial ventures, Nasser has developed deep business insight and a strong grasp of complex operational dynamics. His leadership centres on performance, customer focus, and long-term value creation.

K. Jacob John

K. Jacob John is CEO of Al Ghurair’s Construction & Manufacturing portfolio, which includes Engineering, Power, Switchgear, Metals, Façades, Contracting and Aluminium. Since joining in 2017, he has led the transformation of these businesses with a focus on operational excellence, sustainability, and strategic growth
With over 38 years of industry experience, Jacob has held senior roles across MENA and India, including COO of the Mechanical & Engineering division at ETA. He also served on the board of HI-STAR, a joint venture with Hitachi in water and wastewater solutions.

Anwar Atari

Anwar Atari is CEO of Al Ghurair Property Management, responsible for driving the Group’s leasing strategy, managing its real estate portfolio, and leading digital transformation and diversification across commercial and residential assets.
With over 30 years of experience across the UAE and international markets, Anwar has held leadership roles at major global companies including Johnson & Johnson, Total, and British American Tobacco. He has also served on the boards of companies in Jordan and Morocco, and on several audit and governance committees. Anwar brings deep expertise across corporate finance, valuations, strategic planning, and general management.
